To address this, the Southeast Asia Probiotic Scientific & Regulatory Experts Network was formed earlier this year by DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences along with the Food and Nutrition Society of Indonesia, the Nutrition Society of Malaysia, and the Indonesian Food and Beverage Association. This move is expected to open up market opportunities for brands that can deliver clinically proven probiotic strains in food and beverage products.
